The real magic happens behind the scenes.

You love theatre and you know you want to immerse yourself in it in college. However, which path should you pursue? You may be interested and have experience in many aspects, including: design/tech, stage management, directing, costume design, acting, dramaturgy and more! We know it can be challenging deciphering and picking a major and preparing appropriately when you have many interests. That’s where we come in!

Hear more from our Non-Performance Consultant Bevin!

What can you major in? What’s the difference between a BFA and a BA? And what jobs can you pursue after school?

What are schools really looking for in those portfolio submissions and interviews, and how can you stand out from the crowd?

It all starts with a consultation.

We need to get to know you, just like you probably want to get to know us! Your initial consultation is the time when we explore all of your interests, discuss career paths, build a college list, and talk through what the process looks like for a non-performance major. You’ll leave your consultation with the following:

Your Individualized Plan

Your expert Consultant will recommend a coaching plan that is best suited to your needs and goals so you have clear next steps.

Your College List

Your expert Consultant will develop a cohesive list of theatre programs that match your interests and abilities.

Absolutely not. Our consultations are non-binding and designed to set you on the right path no matter what that might be.

When should I do an initial consultation?

We recommend students begin coaching for college admissions during their Junior year, but it’s never too early or too late to schedule a consultation.

My parents aren't available. Can I still do a consultation?

Yes, however, we strongly encourage having a parent present if possible.

I have an extremely busy schedule. What are your coaching hours?

We coach 7 days a week from 9AM until 9PM. All of our coaches are working arts professionals, so availability can fluctuate with a show/rehearsal schedule. We conduct private consultations on limited days/times. Once you are an MCA student, you are able to schedule throughout the entire week.

I live in Boston or NYC, do you offer in-person coaching?

Totally! Your consultant will discuss in-person options with you during your session.
