1 Hour shoots are typically enough time for thoroughly prepared students to complete at least 3 takes of the following:

• MT Applicants: Basic Slates, 2-3 Song cuts, 2-3 Monologue cuts

• Acting Applicants: All Slates, 6 Monologue cuts

If you require more time to feel comfortable on set, would appreciate time for additional takes, and/or would like to film additional material (songs, monologues, extra slates, individual school response videos, etc), please book a 1.5 Hour shoot.

No! Pre-recorded music tracks provide the most consistent and reliable quality for prescreen filming, and many schools specifically prefer them! We provide a professional quality sound setup to play all music tracks. If you don’t yet have music tracks for all of your song cuts, you can purchase custom music tracks here.

1. A comprehensive list of what needs to be recorded during your session (pieces, framing, time limits, slate, etc). Please fill out the Pre-Screen Requirement Sheet that will be sent via email ahead of your shoot!

2. Piano accompaniment tracks for all songs. Please have separate tracks for each song/cut (16 and 32 bars) you need to record. Please upload all tracks to your Drive folder!

1. At least 3 outfits so we can help decide on the best one. Outfits should be clean, fitted and complimentary. Solid colors tend to work best. Some schools require full body shots - so shoes will be filmed too! Feel free to email your consultant with clothing options if you need help deciding!

2. Hair/make-up should be completely done and ready to rock by the time you arrive!

3. Be completely warmed up and ready to go!!

Prescreen Filming time slots will be assigned by our team. We will do our best to accommodate any stated conflicts. You will receive an email confirming your time two weeks before your shoot date.

Standard turnaround is up to two weeks from your shoot date. A 3-Day turnaround may be available for purchase for an additional $125, payable directly to the videographer at the time of your shoot via cash, check, or Venmo.

If you would like to re-shoot material, you may book a new session at full cost (pending session availability).

Cancellations
The payment for your prescreen shoot is non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for extreme weather/travel conditions and/or illness.

Rescheduling
Rescheduling is not guaranteed. Requests will be determined on a case by case basis, pending availability.
