Check out our 2020 Gift Ideas here:

  1. A subscription to New Play Exchange. New Play Exchange is the world’s largest digital library of scripts by living writers. It’s an incredible database of new plays and up and coming playwrights. And best of all: a subscription to be a reader is just $12 A YEAR! Support new voices, new work and keep busy by reading a new play a week.

  2. Purchase their domain name. Buying theirname.com is a great gift to help them prepare for the professional world. Owning your own website is important in this day and age and building an online professional presence is vital. On average, a domain name is in the $15 dollar range per year!

  3. Go one step further and purchase their hosting package so they can build their own website! A great place for them to do this is on Wix. There are easy, drag and drop actor templates that will walk them through how to build out their very own site.

  4. In the same vein, have them continue their professional kickstart and join our Business of Acting 3 Day Intensive over winter break (12/15-12/17, 2020)! We’ll be talking through  building out their online presence, booking television/film work, reels, ins and outs of Broadway auditions, making connections in the industry, how to supplement their work with outside (empowering) employment and so much more!

  5. Give the gift of knowledge! Gift them self-guided courses that they can do on their own time to work on and improve some of their special skills. We have great ones in Music Theory and Dance Fundamentals that can all be done at home.

Theatre will be back. And when it’s back, you’re prepared, talented, trained, motivated theatre lovers will be ready! Happy Holidays from everyone at My College Audition!
