Beth Stafford Laird (she/her)

Beth Stafford Laird is a Musical Theatre performer and voice teacher based in NYC.

Originally from outside Philadelphia, PA, she got her BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College in 2011, and as of May 2026 will have her Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy from Shenandoah University.

As a performer, Beth has toured nationally and internationally with shows like Company, Anastasia, Newsies, Beauty & The Beast and Ghost The Musical. She was most recently seen in the World Premiere of the new original musical comedy Huzzah! at the Old Globe Theatre. Some of her favorite roles she's performed in regional theatres around the country are Anna in Frozen, Belle in Beauty & the Beast, Katherine in Newsies (twice!), Hope in Anything Goes, Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Joanna in Sweeney Todd. You can also spot her in Newsies: The Broadway Musical on Disney+ with fellow Emerson Alum & MCA coach Kaitlyn Frank!

Beth is passionate about helping to grow voices at any stage, and supporting performers as they prepare for the demands of the industry with empathy and enthusiasm.
