Join us each month as we help you manage your upcoming to-dos to stay on track, learn what is coming down the pipeline and provide tips for troubleshooting throughout the process. It's the perfect opportunity for parents and students to come together, take some notes, and get on the same page!
Our webinars are safe spaces to ask questions, receive guidance, and learn from others - all from the comfort of your home. There are no “stupid questions” in this confusing process and this is the most efficient, beneficial, and cost effective way to make sure you are staying on track and in control of the process.

Webinars take place on Monday evenings at 7pm ET and are hosted by MCA Directors Gigi Watson and Sarah Muirhead.

June 3rd | Headshots, Resumes, Audition Outfits + More: Let’s get down to the details! This month’s webinar is a deep dive into the essential components of every MT & Acting applicant’s “tool kit.” We’ll cover tips and timeline for tackling headshots, resumes, music tracks, audition attire, academic requirements, and more.
July 8th | All About Prescreens: Everything you need to know to nail your Prescreen auditions! How to best prepare, film, and submit prescreen videos to maximize success. Plus, the inside scoop on Wild Card videos and how to stand out from the crowd.
August 5th | Application Deadlines + Details: August is Go Time! How to stay on track for application, prescreen, and other deadlines as Senior year begins.
September 9th | Audition Schedules: Making a smart audition schedule is key to a successful process. This month we will explore early auditions, Unified auditions, digital vs on campus auditions, and how best to delegate and prioritize your time and finances.
October 7th | Slating, Interviews, + Adjustments: Before the first audition, it’s important to have an understanding of what is expected inside the audition room. This month Gigi + Sarah will arm you with tips and tricks on tackling interviews, adjustments, and more inside the room.
November 4th | Follow Ups + Understanding Decision Outcomes: This month we’ll talk about how schools notify, what the various decisions mean, and how to stay on a school’s radar. Thank you notes, deferrals, and more to be discussed!
December 2nd | Staying Healthy + Warm-Up Tips: Getting sick is certainly not on your to-do list. We’ll talk tips for staying healthy, tools for battling sickness, and what to do if you need to reschedule an audition. Plus, how to refocus and level up during winter break!
January 6th | Navigating Auditions + Curveballs: Regular auditions are here! Tune in this month to learn how to tackle the bulk of your auditions (including Unifieds + Walk-In auditions) and be prepared for any and all curveballs thrown your way in the room.
February 10th | Strategies + Follow Ups: This month is all about assessing options and being strategic with the last few months of the process. We’ll discuss adding and subtracting auditions, navigating waitlists, and follow-ups.
March 3rd | Pro/Con + Weighing Options: You made it to March Madness! Now we get to dig in and weigh the options on the table. This month Gigi + Sarah will help you establish a rubric of how to pro/con options and how best to maximize accepted student day visits.
April 7th | Final Decisions: At this leg of the journey, all decisions will be on the table. During this webinar we will discuss financial strategies and how best to make a dream school a reality. We’ll also discuss how to fully wrap up the process and politely decline offers.
May 5th | Now What?!: But what will you do with all of your free time now that college auditions are done?! Tune in to our final webinar to learn the best practices to make the most of your freshman year as a performing arts major, how best to prepare for those first few months, and what to look out for on the horizon with summer stock auditions.
