Meet Chesney!
Working with Chelsea and MCA was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She and the other coaches that I worked with provided me with audition material, professional advice on how to handle myself in the room, and most importantly the confidence that I was ready for this. I knew throughout the whole difficult process of auditions that my coaches were only one call away and happy to help me with whatever I needed. There was nothing more comforting than knowing that I had the support from my coaches. They were always there to remind me that I had done all of the work I needed to do. They told me I simply needed to be myself and the rest would fall into place. Chelsea was always right (of course) and I could not be any happier with the way things turned out in the end. This fall I will be attending CCM (College-Conservatory of Music) to get a BFA in Musical Theatre. Thank you Chelsea, Erica, and Stephanie for helping me be able to pursue my dreams.

Meet Jacob!
Navigating the college application process can be a monster, however the musical theatre process is an even bigger and scarier monster to navigate. Chelsea and the other coaches at MCA really show you everything you need to know from picking your college list to getting through auditions. Not only do they help you pick songs and monologues that are perfect for you but they also teach you how to do interviews properly and even help you with audition skills that help you beyond the college audition process and even into the real world of acting and performance. They're incredible teachers and artists, and of course human beings, I would never have been able to get into my number 1 choice without their help.

Meet Anna!
Growing up, I was a volleyball player with a passion for theatre. For various reasons, theatre was put slightly on the backburner as I focused on my schoolwork and sports but my love for it never lessened and only grew. I continued to do theatre at school and in the community but an issue arose late Junior year when I realized I had no idea how the college audition process worked. I found myself quickly getting overwhelmed and feeling as if I had waited too long to begin following my dream which weighed heavy on me. It wasn’t until a friend of mine told me about My College Audition that I began to feel better about the process I was about to begin. After my first meeting with Chelsea, both me and my parents were sold. Even though I did all of my lessons over skype, I felt such a personal connection with all of my coaches and when I finally met them in person, nothing changed. The lessons provided, from monologues to interview prep, all provided me with important information and more importantly, the confidence I needed to succeed. Thanks to MCA, I felt prepared for my auditions and ready for whatever the process threw at me. Everyone here truly has a love for what they do and it radiates in everything they do. It truly is not too late to start and with MCA they will give you all the tools you need to succeed. Thanks to MCA I found and will be attending my dream school and cannot thank them enough for all they gave me!! I am beyond thankful for these people and I would recommend MCA to any student wishing to pursue theatre in college!

Meet Cara!
When I first began the crazy journey that is the college audition process, I was scared beyond belief. There were so many unknowns, and I was worried that I would crumble under the pressure. However, my first meeting with MCA changed that. From the very first appointment with Chelsea, I realized that I hadn't just found a group of coaches. I had found a family! The people and coaches at MCA helped me to realize that I didn't need to change who I was in order to fit a mold certain colleges wanted me to fit into. One of my coaches once told me, "You are not the every day musical theater student. You are special. Show them that." And without that advice, I would not have been accepted to my dream school. You will go into your auditions so prepared and so ready to take on the world at each and every one. I know that there are lots of coaching companies out there, but I can promise you that none of them will ever compare to the love, support, and training you will receive at MCA.

Meet Natalie!
I've always had a passion for theater, but I never thought I would have the confidence and knowledge to pursue it as a career. It wasn't until my friend Colin told me about his experience with a company called My College Audition. After reading these testimonials, like you're reading now, I was sold. I scheduled my first meeting with Chelsea and after that, I knew this was the right thing to do, and that I couldn't turn down such an unfathomably amazing opportunity. Everything was planned out during the meeting-- Chelsea knows what is best for you, trust me. She has an answer to any question you could possibly ask. She's practically your fairy godmother.
Working with people like Chelsea, Justin, Joe, Nick, and Stephanie has taught me so much. Not only have I grown as a performer, but I have grown exponentially as a person. They welcome you with open arms, and help you genuinely know that you can do ANYTHING, because you CAN. Without these people I still would be that shy girl, longing to chase her dreams but too timid to. They are beautiful, caring people with kind hearts who care so much about you, and are willing to do ANYTHING they can to help you succeed and believe, in your own heart, that you will. There's no way to comprehend how much I appreciate them. Thank you so much, to all of you, for being some of the key factors that have contributed to shaping me into the woman I am today... and for helping my parents not panic about the fact that I'm going to school for theater :) I love you guys!

Meet Shaun!
My College Audition was the most amazing thing to ever happen to me! I most certainly would not have been able to handle the crazy college audition process if it wasn't for this amazing program! Each and every coach is so kind and talented! They are so honest, genuine, and they connect with each student so well! I would like to thank my personal coaches (Chelsea, Justin, Erica, Nael and Stephanie) for preparing me with every bit of knowledge that I needed to survive college auditions. There is so much more to the college audition process than I realized. Thankfully, Chelsea and her team guided me in the right direction!
Auditions are really stressful and I did not know where to even start before I met Chelsea and her team. Every coach is so supportive and caring and they bring out the best in you! They always make you smile and they are always there for you when you need help.
Everything about MCA is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend it to students looking to pursue Theatre in college! Not only does MCA help you get into college, it helps you discover things about yourself that you never knew existed! MCA is the best way to go!! I am really sad that my time with MCA is over, but I am so happy I got the chance to work with such amazing individuals! Thank you Chelsea and MCA! What you do is inspiring!

Meet Nick!
My College Audition is a NECESSITY. I would not have survived the stress and uncertainty of the college audition process without the whole MCA team (especially my own coaches Chelsea, Justin, and Nick). The competition and stakes at these auditions are so high, and the process is just too complicated for one person or family to handle. So an expert, mentor, and friend such as Chelsea is a necessity.

Chelsea and the whole MCA team will literally do everything to help you succeed in the audition process. But what Chelsea and the MCA team do, which no other college audition coach or company has yet to master, is make personal and individual connections with each and every student. They not only taught me how to execute a successful college audition, but they provided me with so much support and individual attention that made me feel so comfortable. I would not have been able to remain as calm and confident as I did throughout this process if it wasn’t for the friendship and support the MCA coaches offered me, in and out of the coaching sessions.

I could go on forever talking about how amazing MCA is. But to be concise: MCA was my savior, my comfort, and my support system for this entire senior year. There is no other way, but MCA.

Meet Isabel!
A year ago, I was struggling to decide what to major in for college. I wanted to go into nutrition and hopefully do some auditioning on the side. I knew I wasn't happy with this and one day I woke up and told my mom that I want to do what is in my heart, and that is to act. We started getting everything prepared and hit a wall. This industry is hard and it starts with auditioning. I contacted MCA as soon as I read what they were all about.

Being an out of state student I only ever had Skype calls and I have never connected so well with people through a video camera. When I went to masterclass and met with my coaches personally it solidified that these are the people I want to be around for the rest of my life. I have never learned so much and felt so confident in myself and this is all due to Chelsea and her whole team. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing company, I have never felt so much love. MCA didn't just help me prepare for auditions for college, it helped me prepare for life. There really is no other way, but MCA.

Meet Elizabeth!
Thanks to MCA and Chelsea's coaching, I was not only fully prepared for my auditions, but when it came down to picking the right school to attend, I received honest and professional guidance on how each of the programs compared with one another. Through MCA I was paired with two of the best coaches who worked with me to shape my hand-picked monologues into unique and powerful pieces to present. I am so grateful for the high caliber and compassionate coaching MCA and Chelsea provided. Going into my auditions, I felt supported and prepared. I cannot recommend anyone or any program more highly.

Meet Claire!
From my first meeting with Chelsea Diehl, my mom and I both felt an enormous weight being lifted off our shoulders. Chelsea is kind, considerate, and took a genuine effort to know me. She helped me create the perfect college list, aided me in choosing great unknown audition material, all the while helping me to understand the confusing minutia of this process. The knowledge and support I was given is invaluable! After every coaching session I left feeling relieved in knowing exactly what I needed to do.

One thing I feared about using a college coach was that I would lose my individuality, that I’d feel like I needed to compromise myself. I was wrong. My coaches encouraged me to embrace what makes me who I am, and use it to my advantage. They made me excited to audition, excited to showcase what I could do. I felt valued, and empowered!

When audition time came, I, someone who can’t talk to a boy without sweating, wasn’t nervous AT ALL. I don’t know how they manage to make all of their students feel so undeniably comfortable and confident in themselves, but they do! That being said, not every audition I had was my best, or close to. But it was okay, because they ingrained in me that failure is okay, that rejection is okay. When I would feel frustrated about not doing well, I’d imagine my hilarious coach Joe, wearing his cool Ghostbusters T-shirt and saying something like, “Dude. You’re great. Seriously. You kill it.” They were with me even when they weren’t with me!

MCA exceeded my expectations. I am so thankful to have worked with people as talented, giving, and warm as Chelsea and Joe! Because of MCA, I will be attending the perfect school for me-  the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. I couldn’t be more excited, and I owe it all to them! P.S. My father, who is historically hard to please, thinks MCA is absolutely incredible.

Meet Evan!
MCA has been the best theater experience I've ever had. I feel I learned more in the short months I was training there than I did in my four years at highschool. I was nervous going into my auditions, but MCA gave me the confidence in my own abilities that I needed. I had so much fun in rehearsals with Nael and Joe.

Before MCA, I didn't really know what I was signing up for by choosing to pursue theater. It seemed like so much work and I was worried I wouldn't be able to handle it all, but you helped make it easy. It actually became fun as I pushed through it!

I was scared that I would make a fool of myself in rehearsals and that I would never be good enough. In rehearsals at school, I felt my performances getting stale the more I performed or practiced. Joe and Nael taught me how to always keep a piece alive and now I love experimenting with any new work I get my hands on.

MCA was amazing. The only issue I have with it is that it ended.

Meet Johnny!
The fall of 2015, I had no idea what I was going to do with college auditions. I figured I would pick monologues I knew and hope for the best outcome. Then came my first audition, and I had no idea what I was doing. I knew coming out of it I didn't get in, and unfortunately I was right. But my mom then recommended this local audition coach Chelsea Diehl. Chelsea helped me figure out what wasn't working with the material and recommended monologues that gave me the edge I needed to impress schools. Now I'm going to one of the best theater schools in the U.S., and it's all thanks to Chels and My College Audition! I cannot thank Chelsea enough and recommend any and every theater major to look her up!

Meet Amandalyn!
Chelsea Diehl is the reason I was accepted by the BFA program I have been dreaming about attending since I was 11 years old. The first year I tried auditioning for schools (2 years ago) I used a different acting coach and was turned down from almost every school I applied to. I was heart broken and attended a university that I didn’t really care for, for a year. Luckily for me, after searching on the web for acting coaches I found Chelsea. Chelsea is so kind, talented and was absolutely the key factor in my success this year. She expertly coaches and guides her students through monologue choice, performance, and audition/interview prep. After going through Chelsea’s process I felt extremely confident and prepared for every single one of my auditions. She was so helpful and supportive and was there for me every step of the way. The college audition process is difficult and stressful but Chelsea makes it so much easier! I can never thank her enough for her help! This year I was accepted to 5 BFA programs. I am now attending Tisch at NYU as a BFA Acting major. Without her I wouldn’t have had that kind of success. She is worth her weight in gold! Hiring Chelsea was the best decision I’ve ever made!

Meet Sam!
College coaching is kind of a misnomer. There are so many self-proclaimed "coaches" who are more akin to sculptors, treating kids like indistinguishable blocks of marble to be shaped into a perfect but lifeless statue. The fine folks at MCA, however, are so much more than just coaches. I'm more likely to call them teachers, geniuses, and most importantly, my close friends. At an MCA lesson, I am not a blank canvas on which to be painted, but an individual with unique traits that exist to be identified and amplified. MCA didn't make me a different person, it made me the best version of myself. The reason my MCA coaches are so good at treating people like real human beings is probably because they're some of the realest human beings I know.

With all that general praise out of the way, I'd like to relate a specific moment with MCA that I will never forget. I was working with Joe on a classical monologue where the character is about to have his eyes burned out with hot pokers by someone he thought was his friend. (Typical Shakespeare, right?) After Joe helped me really see the character I was speaking to in the room with me, I ran the monologue all the way through and was in tears by the end of it. Joe's expertise in pointing out what I could do to aid my visualization helped me open myself up and discover real emotions in the text. This experience will undoubtedly define my experience as a theatre student for years to come, and it's all thanks to MCA.

Meet Alissa!
I don’t even know where to start, so let me start by saying that Chelsea Diehl is the “real deal”. I am so thankful for the privilege of working with Chelsea and Joe. Working with these fabulous two turned such an overwhelming process into an exciting journey of self-discovery. Most importantly, they were by my side from start to finish!

I remember having a rough first audition experience. My confidence was shattered and I worried about my future auditions. Fortunately, Chelsea was right there to encourage and guide me. Thanks to her vast experience with the college audition process, Chelsea offered the knowledge and perspective I needed to regain my footing.

One of many things I admire about MCA is their respect for a student’s individuality. They take the time to know YOU so the colleges can see the real YOU as well! Chelsea and Joe never failed to create a judgment free and collaborative environment, and I never felt limited under their direction! I remember one lesson Chelsea and I spent a whole hour making cuts to my monologue just so it felt comfortable and honest for me.

Aside from everything else, I want to point out how genuine and down to earth the coaches at MCA are. This industry is tough as it is, and sometimes it’s easy to forget how to be real. Chelsea and Joe are two of the most real and honest people I have ever worked with. Joe, your kindness is contagious! Thank you for being such a joy to work with and sharing many laughs throughout the process. Chelsea, words can’t describe how much your mentorship has meant to me over this long year. Thank you for all of your insight and wisdom, especially in my moments of doubt.  I will never forget our 20 minute freak-out over the phone when I found out I was accepted into my dream school!

I hold an infinite amount of love and respect for the exceptional coaches at MCA. It’s apparent that they truly care about their “Kiddos”! When I think of MCA, I can’t help but smile and feel so lucky and proud to have two special mentors and friends. Thank you both for being my partners in crime throughout my journey.

Meet Chris!
I would like to start by saying that I am 100% sure that I would not have gotten into any of the schools I did had it not been for the help of Chelsea and Joe. Before finding MCA, I was overwhelmingly confused when it came to the college audition process. I can't thank MCA enough for the guidance I received. Chelsea and Joe's direction was absolutely priceless and I can not thank them enough. They were extremely considerate and always took the time I needed to completely understand the monologues and perform them to my greatest ability. They were completely honest in their direction and were always there for me. They really took the time to make sure that I was completely comfortable and confident in my monologues. MCA knows exactly what colleges want, and is ready to equip you with everything you need to succeed. I knew exactly what to expect when I walked into to my auditions, felt more than prepared, and walked out with confidence. Once again, I simply can't thank MCA enough for everything it has done for me.

Starting the college application and audition process is overwhelming and I had no idea where to begin. After being referred to MCA by a friend who got into school with their help, I began to work with Chelsea over Skype. MCA surpassed my expectations greatly by helping me all the way from choosing the right programs for me to preparing me with tips and information that was essential during auditions.  MCA has everything so organized and thought out that it takes an incredible amount of stress off your shoulders.  Not only does MCA have it all figured out, they make sure to have it all figured out for you, and take the time to really get to know you so that they can make your audition as unique and powerful as you are.  Without their help I wouldn’t be where I am now and I am so grateful for all the guidance and support MCA gave me.

Meet Aaron!
As any seniors in high school (and their parents) know, applying for college is a daunting task. From finding the right college to getting applications in on time, it can be more than a little bit overwhelming sometimes. For students like me going into musical theatre, the process is even more stressful. Finding the right monologues, songs, and scheduling auditions seems impossible without someone to help guide you along the way. I started working with My College Audition right before starting senior year at the suggestion of a friend, and I can confidently say that doing so was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
From the very first meeting with her, Chelsea took what seemed like an impossible task and made it manageable. The immense positivity that came from her made everything seem like it would be just fine, in spite of the difficult year ahead. She helped me find fantastic colleges that were a great fit for me, and even made my mom feel calm!
The months leading up to audition season were filled with hard work and practice, but the love and encouragement that came from the team I was working with made it feel like I had it all under control. I was working with material that I really related to and enjoyed peforming. Chelsea, Justin, and Nick quickly came to feel more like family than just like coaches. All three of them have incredible knowledge of their mediums, which was indispensable in helping me prepare for my auditions. From working with MCA, I not only became a better auditioner, but a better performer.

Meet Colin!
When I think of MCA, the first word that comes to mind is “WOOOOO”,  which is then closely followed by “Family”. I clearly remember my first meeting with Chelsea and I could not have been more nervous and excited. I thought that by working with MCA I would have coaches who did the one thing they promised to do: Get me into college. However, I didn't expect that in the process I would also gain new mentors, role models, and most importantly friends.

I was lucky enough to not only work with Chelsea, but also with Justin, Nick, Erica, and Stephanie. Chelsea’s monologues are absolutely incredible, and she knows exactly what shes doing. The songs she and Justin helped me pick out were not only fun and challenging, but they showed off me as a person, not just my range. Justin is basically a musical genius and through this process he trained me into a better vocalist in a very short amount of time. Erica and Nick are two of the most personable people I have ever met. When it comes to taking lyrics and helping you transform those lyrics into movement, there’s no one better than them. I give a lot of credit to each coach, but I want to give a special shoutout to Stephanie who somehow managed to teach me the basics of dance in only a few months.

Each and every coach is an expert in their area, but they are also some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They opened so many doors for me by preparing me for what can be considered the most important auditions of my life so far. I would not have been prepared, and definitely would not be going to EMERSON COLLEGE next year to pursue my dreams and study BFA Musical Theatre. MCA helped make my dreams come true, now its time to for them to make yours come true. Whether you want to go to school for musical theatre, or acting, or anything involving the performing arts, MCA is the place to be. So, join the family, because Chelsea and all of the MCA coaches and members are not only going to help you get into college, but they will also become friends for life.

Meet Nick!
I don't know how I would have been able to audition for colleges with out the help of Chelsea and Joe. I have been acting for my entire high school career, so I was use to auditions. The thing is, college auditions are not like normal auditions. Instead of auditioning for a show, you are auditioning for your place in a 4-year-college. There are greater stakes, which made me more stressed out. Knowing this, Chelsea and Joe made it their priority to make sure I was confident with my material. When I was freaking out, Chelsea made it very clear that she would do everything in her power to make sure I was confident with my material. Chelsea and Joe made every rehearsal meaningful and productive and by the time I had my first audition, I felt prepared.

I really mean it when I say Chelsea and Joe where one of the main reasons I got accepted into my dream school. MCA really prepares you for everything. Chelsea helped me stay on track with my college applications while scheduling auditions, and Joe helped me feel confident about pushing my limits with a classical Shakespeare monologue. Overall though, I think the one thing I will really take away from this experience is the true passion the MCA coaches have. From every audition, I could tell that they loved their students. In the end, with the help of Chelsea and Joe, I felt extremely confident going into my dream school audition.

I walked into the college process not really sure what to do. Fortunately, I stumbled across My College Audition and helped me get through it. My College audition helped me choose the best monologues for me and boosted my confidence. Chelsea and Joseph are absolute saints. They are amazing at what they do, and they are kind and compassionate with their students. On top of that, without Chelsea I wouldn't have found my top pick school, Hartt, which I am attending next year! To sum it all up, I would just say that I owe so much to both Chelsea and Joseph, and I could never thank them enough.

Meet Jenna!
I was recommended to MCA by my friend who had used MCA and is now a musical theatre major at Penn State. After my first meeting with Chelsea, I realized what an insanely crazy, scary and tremendous journey this audition process was going to be, and I immediately knew I needed the guidance of someone like Chelsea and the rest of the MCA team. I can honestly say that the only reason I got into any college musical theatre program was because of Chelsea, Justin, Joe and Nick. They know exactly how to pick audition repertoire that successfully shows off who you are as a performer and a person.
I had so much fun working with Chelsea and Joe on my monologues, and Justin and Nick on my songs. They helped me delve into the text of both my songs and monologues and really bring out the character I was portraying in addition to keeping an essence of myself in them.  Besides gaining more knowledge about preparing material and the material itself, these people are some of the most kindhearted people I've ever met, and I feel like I have made a friend in everyone of them. That is something I will always remember about my time with MCA.
I would recommend anyone who wants to pursue musical theatre or acting as a major in college to MCA hands down. I can honestly say I don't think I would have gotten into any school if it weren't for the MCA team, and going to them was the best decision I've ever made in my theatre career.

When I began my search for information of college acting programs I found myself feeling incredibly stressed out and overwhelmed.  I realized that not only did I have to find schools that were good fit for me and figure out audition dates, but I also had to come up with multiple monologues that were a good fit for me. I started looking for help and came across My College Audition, and now I am so glad that I found them. The coaches at MCA helped ease me into the audition process and helped me prepare for interviews. I felt that I was no longer alone and knew that I could handle the stress. I felt so prepared that when I went to my auditions I was relaxed and confident.  I knew that Chelsea was always available to help me and supported me 200%.  Now I can proudly say I got accepted into a great acting program in New York City and I never would have been able to do that without My College Audition.

A year ago, I had no idea what I was doing when it came to college. I was so overwhelmed with the whole process. I knew I wanted to go into theatre, but thats pretty much it! My parents and I found My College Audition completely by accident, but I can honestly say it was the best thing to happen to me all year. Chelsea, Joe, Nick and Justin are not only amazing coaches but my role models. They were unbelievable supportive and encouraging while also making me a better auditioner and performer. I went into all of my auditions prepared and very confident because I knew that they were all rooting for me! (And I actually only worked with them over Skype!) Before working with MCA, I had never done a monologue before, but now I am headed to Montclair State University as a Musical Theatre major and I have never been more excited! There is no way I would have gotten to where I am right now with out everyone at MCA’s guidance, so all I can say is thank you!

I definitely owe a lot to MCA. The college audition process is intense, and I didn't exactly know what to expect. Chelsea helped me be ready for all my auditions in more ways than just helping me with my monologues. Thanks to her I felt more prepared and relaxed than I ever would have been on my own. I also overlooked the value of having someone with real experience look at my college list and help me balance my reach schools with safety and fit schools. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to work with MCA. I'm so excited to be attending one of my top choice schools next fall and am grateful for all the help they gave me!

Meet Symone!
I stumbled upon MCA by complete accident, but it was one of the best decisions I made this year in regards to my college auditions, because I started pretty late in the game. Chelsea, Justin, Nick, and Stephanie all had a way of working with me that always made me feel completely at ease. From the very beginning I trusted them, (even though I was a little intimidated), but it was a GOOD intimidation because the whole team knew exactly what they were doing and from then I knew that they would never let me down. The instruction and guidance that they provided helped me grow as an artist and as a person. Chelsea and the team work so hard to make sure you're always prepared to give your best self at every audition and most importantly, they taught me that being who you are is what is the key to being successful. I will always be appreciative of them and this program and if I could, I would tell them thank you every single day of my life! Being a teenager, especially a senior, isn't easy but they took what is usually supposed to be a stressful time in life and turned it into a positive experience that I will remember for years to come.

I could have never expected how different the college audition process would be from any auditions I had experienced before. At MCA, they understand that auditioning for a 4 year program at a college or university needs to be attacked from a different perspective than auditioning for professional theatre. Chelsea and Jonathan were able to give me great insight and help in figuring out the material that would be perfect for me. They gave me an array of options for songs and monologues and had me prepared with a whole new level of confidence in just a few sessions. I am so thankful to Chelsea and Jonathan for their help and guidance throughout this stressful process and would highly recommend them to any student auditioning for a university musical theatre or acting program.

Meet Sarah!
I still remember my first meeting with Chelsea. I was greeted with a warm hug and a burst of energy. It was then that I knew this would be a perfect match to get me through the college process. Chelsea knows her stuff AND has the warmest kindest heart, as does the rest of her team. This combo is not often found in this business. Working with Chelsea was wonderful, we were able to  pick out my monologues in out first session which really eased my nerves. Justin and Erica are no different. They know their stuff but could not be kinder. Working with Justin was incredible; I not only picked my pieces and worked on them but also learned important vocal technique. Erica is one of the best, she gave me effective ways to work through my songs and communicate their meanings in the auditions. The entire team also helped me keep my confidence up and always gave words of encouragement. I knew if I ever had problems or doubts I could always call or email and they would be there for me with answers.  This team works together so well! When it came time for me to pick my music, it was Chelsea who had picked one of my songs. She found it and insisted I listen to it, and as soon as I did I loved it and it was perfect for my voice. She just knew! Even after this audition process I still sing this song and it is was of my favorite and I had a permanent spot in my rep book.
The love I have for the MCA team is indescribable. They were absolutely instrumental through the audition process.  I really do not know what I would have done without them. From preparing me for the auditions to providing support they made this terrifying and exhausting process do-able. MCA prepared in a way no one else could have. They are professional, kind, and supportive. No one knows this process like they do, I mean come on, Chelsea wrote the book on it!
After all of my auditions I have decided to attend The Hartt School of Dance, Music and Theatre at the University of Hartford to get a BFA in Musical Theatre, and I could not be happier. I love this school so much and it is the best place for me.  You have probably heard this a million times by now but, when they say “you end up where you were supposed to be”, you really do.  This team ensures that you will end up in the right place! I could not have done this without them.

Meet Luke!
Going into the college audition process, I thought I would be able to do it all on my own. But let's face it, actors are stubborn like that. When I finally decided to reach out to MCA for help, I realized I knew practically nothing about the college audition process. From the piece selection to the interview Chelsea was there every step of the way to make sure I had the best odds of getting into the program of my dreams, and when the college thought they were being clever by throwing in a Shakespeare requirement to the audition MCA was a step ahead with their secret weapon, Joe the Shakespeare mentor. The combined knowledge of this dynamic duo gave me the confidence and skill to rise a step above my competition and ultimately come out on top. In the end I ended up with 27 callbacks at a regional audition and decided on University of Texas at Austin's BFA Acting program, which I has set my eyes on from the beginning. Without the help and guidance from MCA, I don't know how I would have ever survived the audition circuit, and looking back on it I am so thankful to have had them at my side. Not only did I acquire two great mentors, but also lifelong friends, and let's be honest, in this business connections are everything.

Meet Steph!
When I first met with Chelsea, I was a lost young actor with little to no planning for my college process. Not only did she walk me through the steps, planning and precautions to take, but with Chelsea's help and the rest of my coaches, Joe, Justin and Erica, I walked into every audition prepared, confident and with ease. After a few big decisions, I am so excited for my future at Ithaca College, BFA Acting, Class of 2018 and could not be more appreciative for the experience I've had with MCA. The lesson's from my coaches will stay with me long past the college audition process. I am so proud of the actor, artist and young adult I have become and I am proud to say that MCA has played a large part in shaping me into the person I am today.

Meet Andrew!
Finding the perfect fit for anything in life is difficult under the best of circumstances, and finding the right college or university is no exception. Before I was recommended to MCA, tackling the college process, especially as I was interested in pursuing a BFA in acting, seemed an insurmountable task: picking great monologues, researching and applying to schools where I could develop as a person and as an artist, and even finding help perfecting my monologues seemed like a daunting proposition, especially with senior year on the way. After my first few Skype meetings with Chelsea and Joe, we not only developed a clear vision of where I would be applying, but I also received fantastic audition material as well as insightful one-on-one coaching for both my monologues and each individual school's audition process. By the time I auditioned for my first school, their experience and insight into the world of college auditions had brought my audition material leaps and bounds from where I had started and I felt fully prepared for the rest of my auditions. Thoroughly and efficiently, Chelsea and Joe helped transform my college process from a time-consuming nightmare into a manageable and enjoyable experience. After being accepted to the majority of the programs I applied, I have chosen to enroll at the University of Southern California's BFA Acting program. I can not recommend Chelsea, Joe, and the entire MCA team highly enough. They get the job done, and they have fun the whole way through.

Meet Mesa!
The decision to work with MCA absolutely changed my life. Chelsea was not only my coach, but my mentor and my friend, and I absolutely couldn't have made it through the audition process without her! She and Joe, the Shakespeare coach, helped me prepare amazing monologues that I connected to endlessly, but it was about more than that. I felt like both coaches genuinely cared about me and wanted the best for me, and they didn't stop pushing me until I achieved that best. Joe was hilarious and constantly made me laugh, but also kept me focused and gave me a new respect for Shakespeare's work, making me adore my monologues feel totally confident in performing them. Chelsea is kind, funny, relatable, and encouraging, not to mention talented and insanely devoted! She brought out the best in my acting and helped me grow, not only as an actor, but as a person. It is so easy to get sucked into the highs and lows of auditioning, but Chelsea helps you keep a level head and a focused mentality. She was there for me whether I was laughing or crying, and talked to me every single day to keep me sane through the crazy week of Unified Auditions! The process of auditioning is rigorous and challenging, but it is so worth it, and Chelsea won't let you lose sight of your goals.  Because of MCA, I ended up receiving acceptance into my top-choice program, the BFA acting program at Pace University in New York City, and of course Chelsea was there to call and celebrate with when I found out!
I literally cannot say enough good things about Chelsea and My College Audition. Thank you for believing in me even in the moments when I didn't believe in myself, and for being there with me every step of the way through the long journey of college auditions. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such amazing people!

Meet Sarah!
Having Chelsea as my coach truly made the college audition process an enjoyable experience. Prior to discovering the hidden gem that is the MCA, I had auditioned for a program from which I had been rejected. During my first meeting with Chelsea I performed my monologues for her and described my previous audition. Chelsea was able to pinpoint exactly what I had done that turned the judges off, and was able to lead me in a more productive direction. She found my strengths as a performer and helped me choose monologues that showcased my specific talents. Going into this process I thought I would be able to find my own monologues with ease, I was very wrong. With so much experience in the college audition process Chelsea was able to tell me which monologues were overdone, which didn’t stand out and which would get me into a BFA Acting program. At our second meeting she brought several monologues that she felt would suit me. The monologue I chose made me cry; I knew it was the one. We met two to three times a week to work on my monologues and interviewing skills. By taking every piece of advice, every word of encouragement and all the new knowledge Chelsea gave me, I am proud to say that I am now part of Syracuse University’s BFA Acting program.

Meet Sara!
MCA gave me the ultimate edge I needed to get into my dream school! I could not have asked for a better way to prepare for my college auditions. The idea of majoring in Musical Theatre seemed almost impossible to me, but as soon as I met Chelsea, I knew my dreams could become a reality. Not only does Chelsea know exactly which colleges want what, but she is also the sweetest and funniest person! After our first meeting, I instantly became a fan of hers. The same goes for all the other amazing coaches such as Justin, Erica and Stephanie. They all know exactly what they are talking about and are some of the most knowledgeable people you could meet in this business. The college audition is a very scary thing to approach, and I never thought I’d be able to make it through a day of rigorous auditions. But after my lessons with MCA, I couldn’t have felt more ready and excited to take on the auditions. Not only was I focused but I also realized that I was having a lot of fun along the way! MCA is the reason I got into my dream school. The tips, preparation, coaching and endless support was more than I could have ever asked for. In the fall, I will be attending The Hartt School at The University of Hartford with a major in Musical Theatre. MCA is the best way to prepare you for a college audition. Chelsea works closely with you and is so eager to learn more about you. Each coach dedicates their time to you and soon a personal relationship will evolve. If you are questioning whether or not to try MCA, just know that it is more than worth it!
Everyone at MCA has done more for me than I could have every imagined. They gave me the most important trait anyone could have walking into an audition; confidence. Thank you Chelsea, Justin, Erica and Stephanie for sharing your amazing talents with me!

Meet Dalton!
Without MCA, I could never have gone into my auditions feeling as confident and prepared as I did. You don’t realize how much you don’t know about college auditions until you’ve experienced them firsthand. Throughout the preparation process I came across more and more questions that could only be answered by someone very knowledgeable about auditions and current trends at different universities. I can’t think of anyone better suited to answer these questions than Chelsea and her staff. MCA didn’t just make sure I was prepared physically with the materials, such as monologues and songs. They also made sure I was prepared mentally. After every meeting or lesson I had with Chelsea, she would ask me how I was feeling, if there was anything I was unsure of, and if I had any questions. She made sure that I wasn’t stressed, and if there was ever anything bothering me, the MCA staff did whatever they could to fix it. In a way, the MCA staff is like a large, supportive family, and you’ll fall in love with them by the time you reach your first audition! MCA helped me get accepted to and select an amazing Musical Theatre program, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. If you let them, they can do the same for you!

Meet Kyra!
I could not be more lucky to have found MCA and have Chelsea, Jonathan, Stephanie, and Grant as my coaches. I knew that I wanted to pursue acting in college for a very long time, but I had absolutely no idea how to approach the entire process. I was really nervous about finding the right coach that would actually help me figure out everything I had to do. My coaches did so much more than that. They really cared about me and made sure that I was always on top of the work I had to do in order to prepare. I felt such a connection with each one of my coaches. Even over Skype sessions where I'd have the luxury of practicing in the comfort of my home, we were extremely productive and I felt like I had the undivided attention of my coaches. Chelsea made sure that I was 110% prepared and confident for my auditions. That was the most amazing part of the entire experience. I felt so prepared and excited to show off all my hard work at my audition. I ended up only having to attend one audition after being accepted to my early decision school, Boston University. I'm so excited to attend Boston University, BFA Acting, Class of 2018. If you want to be successful and confident for your college auditions, MCA is the place to go. I could not be more appreciative for all the help and support I've received.

Meet Deedee!
I am endlessly thankful that I found MCA at the time that I did. I started the college audition process later than I should have, with barely a clue how to approach it. Despite this, Chelsea prepared me for anything. She helped me with everything from choosing monologues to recording prescreens, and together we constructed a balanced list of colleges to apply to. The MCA coaches are SO kind, experienced, and will go to any length to make this process easy, even though it seemed overwhelmingly difficult. Not only was Chelsea a wonderful teacher and coach, but she also became a mentor, and her advice and encouragement was truly what made this process possible. Thanks to her, I entered every audition feeling confident and ready, and now I will be attending the school of my dreams, getting a BFA in Acting from Emerson College! I don't know what I would have done without MCA. The college audition process is crazy and challenging, and I am SO thankful that I had MCA beside me to guide me!

Meet Erin!
MCA helped turn my dreams into reality. After months of worrying about upcoming college auditions at the end of my junior year, I found MCA. One day I was surfing the web and happen to come across their youtube videos, not knowing at the time how lucky that was. MCA provided me with pre-screen videos, assistance in both monologue and song selection and dance lessons. Working with Jonathan, Chelsea, Grant, and Stephanie gave me so much confidence going into the auditions. Going into the process, I was unaware of what schools to apply to but Chelsea assisted me in choosing schools that were right for what I wanted. Jonathan helped me with vocal technique and I feel like working with him allowed my voice to really grow and develop. Grant worked with me on all of my monologues. He pushed me past my limits and forced me to put everything that I had into my pieces. All of them are incredible coaches and I am so happy that I got the chance to work with them. In the fall, I will me attending Marymount Manhattan College to receive a BA in Theatre Arts with a theatre performance concentration and musical theatre minor. My dream was to end up in New York City and the fact that I will be attending college there is incredible. I couldn’t have done it without the assistance of all the coaches that I worked with. I now hold them very near and dear to my heart. I will never forget what MCA did for me!

Meet Becky!
MCA is a must for anyone planning on going through the college audition process. I've been training and taking private voice lessons for years, but none of that would have prepared me for the craziness that goes along with each audition. Knowing that I could trust Chelsea, Justin, Erica, and Stephanie to help me through was lifesaving. I didn't have to juggle everything on my own. The MCA coaches know the audition process inside and out and are some of the best in their respective specialties. That meant that I could just relax and focus on what was important--doing good theatrical work!
Besides taking loads off of my plate, the coaches gave me so much. I came away from my time with them having learned tons of new skills and strategies for selecting audition material, along with a lot of new repertoire I could use at once!
The school that I'm going to in the fall--James Madison University, wasn't even on my radar before I met Chelsea. She and the other coaches are such great listeners and went off of my interests to help guide me to the right schools for me to audition at. It's the perfect balance of making your own decisions and getting the confirmation from someone creditable that they will turn out okay!
They won't let you slack off, but that's because they know what you are going to be up against in these auditions. They will push you to reach your full potential like they pushed me, but that's because they care about you and want you to get the recognition from colleges that you deserve. I wouldn't have had it any other way!

Meet Amanda!
No one will tell you that the college audition process is easy, but with the assistance of amazingly talented and knowledgeable coaches, nearly anything is possible. Getting the chance to work with Chelsea, Jonathan, and Grant was an unbelievable experience where I was able to put together my audition binder, find monologues that suited my personality, and even choose the perfect outfit! (It is more important than you would think!)   Every time I got the chance to work with them, I felt so lucky that I was speaking to three people that had so much experience and knowledge in the area that I wanted to be in.  Jonathan was able to make me laugh and teach me the best ways to choose a song for my vocal type.  Grant pushed me past my comfort zone and allowed me to be proud of the monologues I put forward in auditions.  Chelsea and I communicated via Skype but even without being face to face, I knew that she cared about me and my success and allowed me to feel confident and comfortable with the material I was presenting.  I was accepted to the majority of the Musical Theatre programs I applied to and I am lucky to be attending the school that Chelsea predicted I would end up and what I now consider to be my dream school: Point Park University.  More than anything, I thank MCA for the hard work that went into prepping me for the audition process and allowing me to be completely comfortable and confident in how I was presenting myself for each and every audition.  Even when I did not, all my coaches believed in me and believed that I would end up at the college that was right for me.  I am so excited to be attending Point Park in the fall and I owe that opportunity to the support and knowledge that I received from working with Chelsea, Jonathan, and Grant.

Meet Amy!
When I first started the college audition process, I really had no idea what to expect. I felt nervous, anxious and extremely apprehensive. I wanted to get into my dream school but I didn't really know how to go about doing that. This is where the awesome team at My College Audition came in! Through their encouragement and knowledge I was able to tackle the college audition process with a confidence and ease. After my first initial meeting with Chelsea, I knew she was the person that was right to be my coach! She was so friendly, really approachable and she clearly knew her stuff. I never felt like she was coaching other kids, she was always 100% focused on me. The first thing Chelsea did for me was help compile a list of colleges. I tend to shoot for the moon and if it was up to me, I would have applied to only my reaches and that would have been it! Thank God I had Chelsea! She helped me compile a realistic list of reaches, middles and safeties which ensured that I would end up somewhere I was really happy with! Chelsea also helped me find amazing monologues and so many adjudicators told me that they were unique monologues and that they were really impressed with my choice. I would have never found those monologues if it hadn't been for Chelsea! Joe and Chelsea also helped me tackle Shakespeare! I had never done Shakespeare before and I was terrified but Joe and Chelsea helped me analyze it piece by piece and they gave me the confidence to perform it. My College Audition also offered so many other amazing opportunities besides just the coaching including videotaping my prescreen and offering a mock audition with really helpful feedback! I know that My College Audition also really helped my parents feel more at ease about the whole process because they knew that everything was getting done. I really feel so blessed that I got to work with the amazing team at My College Audition because they helped me get into my dream school! I am so excited to say that I will be getting my BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College. I am thrilled to be in the middle of New York City surrounded by the best theatre in the world and studying what I love and I really have Chelsea and My College Audition to thank for that!

Meet Alyssa!
Despite the stressful nature of the college audition process, MCA helped me feel prepared and excited to audition for competitive programs across the country. Chelsea and Jonathan are reliable and supportive coaches that know exactly how to pick material suitable for each of their students. Throughout the process of preparing for college auditions with MCA, I learned valuable skills that will continue to help me as I move on to college and beyond. Selecting monologues and songs that highlight my strengths, learning how to present myself in the audition room, and understanding how to properly approach a piece of new material are just a few important things I learned from working with Chelsea and Jonathan. I have decided to attend Emerson College as a BFA Musical Theatre student and could not be more excited! I owe so much of my college audition success to MCA, and recommend Chelsea and Jonathan to any student committed to pursuing theatre at a collegiate level!

Meet Mary!
I had very little knowledge about the college audition process at the end of my junior year. The more I read about it, the more anxious I would become, until I met Chelsea. Once I had my first meeting with her, I immediately relaxed and felt a connection to her good humor and friendly disposition. She found the perfect monologues for me, which made everything a hundred times easier! She is an amazing and supportive teacher. She introduced me to Joe Marrella who also worked on my material with me. Joe was so helpful with my monologues—he got the best out of me and pushed me to find my true acting potential. I am extremely grateful to have worked with him. I started out looking for BA Musical Theatre/ Theatre degrees, and threw in a few BFAs, just for good measure. Before I took lessons from MCA, I expected to get into maybe one or two audition schools, but after working with them, I was accepted to the majority of my Musical Theatre/Theatre programs. I thankfully had wonderful choices, and have chosen to attend Ithaca College, BFA Acting, Class of 2017. Thank you MCA for believing in me, encouraging me, and for perfecting my audition package while relieving so much of my stress!

Meet Gabriela!
Growing up in the Dominican Republic allowed me to have a broad outlook on the world around me. I spent my summers in New York and I quickly fell in love with the theater. I started acting when I was 11 and I knew I wanted to pursue it as a career. I spent most of my free time taking classes and exploring different forms of theater and film. However, as "experienced" as I was I had no idea what to expect for college auditions. I had my monologues and I worked hard but something was missing. I remember it was about two weeks before my actual auditions when I began the coaching. Both Chelsea and Jonathan adapted to my schedule, gave me great material and rooted for me all at the same time. We did a mock audition in New York and for the first time in months I felt READY. I am currently pursuing a BFA in Acting at the University of Southern California and  I couldn't feel more proud but I know without the coaching I would not be able to showcase my potential nor feel as prepared as I did. Their positivity, support and knowledge helped me achieve my goals and for that I am extremely thankful!

I can't thank My College Audition enough for their guidance and support throughout this crazy process. Chelsea made it possible for me to really enjoy each audition and know I was performing at my best. Not only is she a coach, but a true mentor and friend who has my best interests at heart. I have nothing but love and respect for her true expertise in picking monologues, coaching, and prepping students for the ins and outs of this important (and fun) journey! I'll be heading to NYU for BFA Acting next year!

Meet Camille!
Applying for college is stressful enough but having to prepare music and monologues for college auditions is a whole other process. MCA helped me find songs and monologues that fit all the requirements for my college auditions. They helped me narrow down what schools I wanted to go to and gave me confidence going into these auditions. I ended up auditioning for eleven schools and felt great about every audition I went into. I know that I would not have felt as confident going into auditions if I had not had help from MCA. After training with MCA I have a solid repitoire of songs and monologues that I can use for future auditions as well. I have decided to study BA Theater with a concentration in performance and a minor in Musical Theater at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. I would reccommend this program to anyone and wouldn't have chosen anyone else to help me out along my college audition journey. Thank you so much MCA!

I had always known that I wanted to major in Acting but never in a million years had I imagined that so many other teens also shared the same dream. I stumbled upon MCA a little late in the game but thank goodness I did! Even with a short amount of time, MCA helped me to prepare for my auditions more than I could have ever imagined. I worked with Chelsea through Skype and she was so kind from the moment I met her.  She helped me with everything from choosing the perfect monologue all the way to selecting the perfect outfit for the big day. Right before the big weekend of 5 auditions I was able to meet with Chelsea in person. She sent me on my way with all the confidence I needed to nail my auditions. At each audition, the thought of walking through those doors without the help of MCA made me cringe. I am now able to attend one of my top schools, Adelphi University, as a BFA Acting student. I could not thank MCA enough for all their time, and support! I have recommended MCA to many of my friends, and I would highly recommend it to any high school student considering entering this competitive field!

I had no idea what I was doing going in.  It'll be just like any other audition, right?  Apparently not.  MCA helped me in every aspect of my audition, and I couldn't have done it without them.  Chelsea, Grant, and Joe were constantly supportive, generous, helpful, and fun.  I learned so much about auditions, and acting in general.  From choosing monologues to preparing them, and even choosing the right audition outfit and how to enter a room, MCA will teach you everything you need to know for your college audition.  After months of preparation, I felt confident at all of my auditions.  Thanks to MCA, I am now in the BFA Acting program at Emerson College, my top choice!  I would definitely recommend MCA to anyone and everyone who is looking to major in acting or musical theatre.

Meet Lexi!
Before I met with Chelsea and Kevin from MCA, I had this horrible vision of what a college audition would be like. It was clear that I needed help not only choosing and mastering material, but also wrapping my head around the idea of that imminent "college audition." My mom came across My College Audition online, set up an appointment, and the rest is history! Chelsea and Kevin were so kind to me from the moment I met them right up to the present. They guided me through the steps of the audition, offered me new material and helped me select pieces that best suited me (both as a human being and as a performer), and they helped me to become confident with each piece. I learned not only about the audition material, but about the interview questions often asked at college auditions, and I learned about myself. I was even able to practice a full audition in front of guest alumni from the schools I applied to. I don't know what I would have done without this unique program and the talented, supportive instructors. Truly. So far, I have auditioned for Emerson College and The Hartt School and I have received acceptance letters and scholarships from both schools. Chelsea and Kevin did not hesitate to email me with much love and support when they heard the news! I am looking forward to my upcoming auditions because I know I am well-prepared thanks to MCA. I recommend My College Audition to any prospective theatre student who likes the sound of being comfortable, confident, prepared, and just having fun at their college audition!

Meet Tara!

Initially, I found the entire college audition process to be impossibly overwhelming. I had no idea where to even begin looking for monologues, and I was terrified of choosing songs out of my character/vocal range, or pieces that are overdone. I feel so lucky that I found out about MCA, for without their professional guidance and training, I would have gone into my audition with a complete lack of confidence. Not only did the coaches point me to pieces seemingly tailor-made for me, but they directed me in all aspects of the performance execution. When the time came for my audition, I knew I was ready to give the most professional audition I possibly could. I use the singular form of "audition", because thanks to MCA, I was accepted to NYU Tisch Drama through early admittance- an absolute dream come true! I cannot thank MCA enough for helping me get into my top-choice school, and I would recommend this program to anyone looking for that unique competitive edge at his/her college auditions!

MCA Parent Testimonials

"I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how appreciative Jason, and I and Zach are with the professionalism of your company. As an already working actor, we really didn’t know what to expect when Zach started applying to drama programs around the country. When we learned of your company, we had an immediate relief that we were going to be guided in the right direction and that he would eventually learn the knowledge he needed in order to audition for and be successful in a top drama program of his choice. The audition process was quite different than he was used to, but Zach was confident with his training through your company, that he would impress several programs. Ultimately, the best piece of advice we were given was, that he would eventually end up where he was “meant to be” Your staff was amazing, comforting and exceptionally on point with their advice. I would highly recommend your company to any incoming dramatic arts student/family, as it will ease any and all concerns a parent may have as they take this journey with their young adult."

"Chelsea and MCA were recommended to me by a parent who told me her daughter would never have gotten into NYU without Chelsea (the daughter had auditioned the year before and only gotten into a program she was not happy with). I was dubious at first but soon learned how crazy competitive the audition process for musical theater was, with top programs auditioning 1,000 plus students for 20 or so places. A student needs to be super talented but also truly stand out in some way. Despite the fact that my daughter had years of experience, her one-on-one acting and acting the song training at MCA brought her dramatic skills to the forefront, gave her confidence to the point where many auditioners commented on how unusually strong her acting was for a musical theater major. As you learn, it is not as much about hitting the right note as being able to tell a story in song and it is almost staggering how much my daughter improved with convenient Skype lessons. Chelsea's staff is actually more impressive than a lot of the professors in the musical theater programs! More than anything it is the devotion and work ethic every member of staff projects-- every call is promptly returned, every concern addressed, every child feels special and that the lessons are truly customized to them. They want your child to succeed and you feel as if you are part of a community and have a partner in this very competitive and stressful process. The parent Facebook page is a source of ongoing information and support, which trust me you will need. Don't hesitate because once you are immersed in the process you will be overwhelmed on your own and so many of the talented friends my daughter trained with did not get into a single program. MCA is an artist run company that is one of the most organized, focused, committed and effective models that I (as a successful business entrepreneur) have ever seen. Everyone goes above and beyond, will exceed your expectations, and provides tremendous value for the money."

(Ella Faria - Manhattan School of Music, BFA Musical Theatre)

"When our daughter told us that she wanted to go to college and major in Musical Theatre, we panicked. We didn’t even know where to begin. She is our oldest child, and therefore this was our first parental experience ushering a child through the college application process. Her high school guidance department had been preparing us for several years with academic information, financial aid meetings, college visits, and college fairs. But wait…my kid wants to do Musical Theatre. The guidance counselor knew nothing about this major. What do we do now? Who can help us?

Our daughter went to high school with an MCA alum who graduated a couple years before her. I remember him mentioning his “life-saving” audition coaches (who ever heard of such a thing?!) and we immediately got in contact with him to get details. We emailed Chelsea and she responded very quickly to set up a consultation. We purchased the MCA Musical Theatre coaching package.
Chelsea and her coaches were very accommodating. Since we live over an hour away from the MCA studios in Allston, we set up two lessons each weekend, usually in a row. Bonus: the long car rides allowed me to chat with my daughter and spend some quality time with her!
We had the pleasure of working with Justin, Joe, Nick, Stephanie, and of course Chelsea. These coaches are GIFTED and fully invested in each of their students. They selected and prepped monologues and songs, choreographed and rehearsed dances, prepared my daughter for her interviews, created an audition schedule, (and talked me off the ledge several times) in addition to supporting my daughter. Our daughter was accepted into six musical theatre programs and is attending a phenomenal program at a “reach school,” largely because of her MCA coaches. It sounds cliché, but we never would have made it through the college audition process without Chelsea and her team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
If you're on the fence, think about this. Your kid needs a coach. Everyone else’s kid will have a coach. Give your child the tools and support they will need to walk confidently into each of his/her auditions. This is an investment in your child’s future. Nobody does it better than MCA."

"I am a big believer in "everything happens for a reason." One of our son's friends, an alumni of MCA, visited us 4 years ago, just before heading off to NYU. She had never visited our home and I had never really had many in-depth conversations with her before that day. She only stayed for about 30 minutes, but in those 30 minutes, she just happened to mention how grateful she was to have worked with MCA. I questioned her about it and 2 years later
, I made the call to Chelsea and will forever be grateful. Chelsea and her team guided us through a very overwhelming (but fun) process and our son is now headed to CCPA for Musical Theatre. Chelsea and her team are professional, experienced, kind, supportive, and encouraging. They learn your child so quickly and have so much expertise in knowing the best fit for your child, whether it is a song, a monologue, and dance routine or a college. Not being experienced in the theatre world, Chelsea and her team made my husband and I feel at ease and reassured that the training necessary for the musical theatre auditions and college process was in their hands. They truly know the path to get your child where he or she wants to be. We are incredibly grateful for all their kindness, support and guidance in this process. They are magnificent!!"

"We contacted MCA before our son's senior year. Chelsea was an IMMEDIATE help, working with him to develop a realistic, balanced list of schools that would be good fits for his goals, abilities, personality, and preferences. From there, Joe and others helped our son with monologue and song selection, acting and audition coaching. Our family had a strong game plan for the year and our son went to auditions thoroughly prepared and confident. To our delight, he received a unanimous early acceptance and invitation to a high "reach" school in his Top 3, which meant he could drop every other school below that on the list, focus on the other two auditions, and fully enjoy his senior year of high school. Thank you, Chelsea and MCA!"

"We came very late to the Musical Theater college application process when we found MCA.  Chelsea made a rapid and realistic assessment of the situation, set up a game plan and got started immediately.   With incredible focus and skill, Chelsea connected my daughter to Nael, Justin and Erica. My daughter, Gabi, could relate to each of them, and they all worked with her, pushing her to go to a higher level, while staying true to her unique strengths. The team was rigorous, yet kind and calm. They gave Gabi the tools she needed to feel more confident during her auditions.   She was able to be herself and make a connection with the audition adjudicators during the process.  When all was said and done, Gabi got into her first choice school (and a few others!)  She was fortunate to have options.  We are so thankful to the MCA team for their professionalism and commitment to us. It was a gift to be able to learn from and connect to such amazing actors, teachers and role models.   They made it possible for my daughter to realize her dream."

"Being a parent who has had no experience at all with the world of theater myself but having a child who was so obviously dedicated to the art, I can't thank My College Audition enough for their help in finding the right college for our son to continue his passion. Every step of the way, MCA was there and dead on, from evaluating strengths and weaknesses (which we all have), and giving amazing support on both, to knowing just which programs would be the best fit - not just where he could "get in" but giving us information on which ones would most challenge him as an artist. The audition process was daunting to me as a parent, but MCA made it all make sense and actually be manageable. The monologue/song coaching was dead on, and even I could see him grow as an artist during the process, not just helping him polish up his audition pieces. It's a very competitive and stressful process, and MCA's honest support and help made it doable, even for someone like me, who had no idea what was involved! In the end, we all feel that our son ended up just where he needed to be at this stage of his career, and could not be happier or more excited.  I know for a fact that he would not be there without MCA's support!"

"Audition coach? Who needs an audition coach? My kid is so talented schools will be falling over themselves to accept him/her". Oh, parent of a future actor, do I have news for you: YOU need an audition coach. After going through the BFA audition process, I'm pretty certain that MCA is more important for the parents than the students. Sure, the kids  get awesome tips on their monologue selection and the coaches give them the tools they need to deliver really powerful monologues that make a lasting impression in under 2 minutes, but let's face it: while your kid is working on his monologues, someone has to check schedules, write checks, confirm audition dates/times, make plane/train/automobile reservations, book hotels, make dinner, run a household, hold down a job, maybe even take care of other kids...and I assure you, that is way too much to take on without the guidance that Chelsea and her team provide. If you think your kid doesn't need an audition coach, you may be right. But listen to me when I tell you: YOU need MCAs invaluable guidance, insight, reassurance, reminders, advice and reality checks.
As far as the students go, I will tell you this: My son has a passion and drive to be an actor...along with tens of thousands of other kids, most of whom had a lot more experience than he did. Chelsea, Joe and Nael saw his potential and gave him the tools (monologue selection, audition tips, scheduling tips, school recommendations, and constructive notes) he needed to be taken seriously as a candidate for the very selective BFA programs out there. Without the MCA team's direction, I'm not sure we would have made it through the first audition, but with the guidance they provided, my son actually had choices! He was accepted into several programs AND received top talent scholarships at most of them.
Although my son has passion, drive and talent, I'm quite certain that these would not have been enough to make his dream a reality without the guidance and direction MCA provided. They traveled with us through this crazy, stressful, overwhelming and chaotic journey and delivered us to an awesome destination. I am forever grateful."

"As parents, we never would have guessed Tanner’s path to college entry would include acting auditions as well as the regular academic applications. Tanner did not get the “acting bug” until his junior year of high school.  After a severe injury sidelined him from the sport he loved, he decided to get involved with his school’s drama department.  From there, he did the research on what it takes to get into prestigious acting programs throughout the country.   Once he found MCA, he was sold!  After meeting with Chelsea via Skype, so were we.  MCA worked with Tanner to select and then practice monologues that highlighted his versatility as an actor.  The coaching provided by Chelsea, Joe, and Nael made all the difference in Tanner’s preparation.  He entered each audition with just the right amount of confidence and a clear understanding of what was expected of him. As parents new to the theater world, the information shared by Chelsea proved to be invaluable as we embarked on this difficult process. Tanner was offered admission into six out of the seven schools where he auditioned.  We are so proud of Tanner’s acceptances into the BFA Acting programs of University of Florida, Marymount Manhattan, Florida State University, Emerson, Boston University, and NYU Tisch. We cannot imagine having done this without MCA.  The decision has been made, and Tanner has accepted the offer to attend FSU in the fall. He is one of twelve accepted into FSU's Class of 2020 BFA Acting program, and he can't wait to get started!"

"What can I say about Chelsea and MCA? I'll be honest, I looked at a couple of coaching services, and what impressed me most about Chelsea and her crew is the personal level of service that they give. It's not a coaching factory, where your child is randomly assigned to a mentor for songs, monologues, dance. When you hire MCA, you know up front who will be working with your child. And you know they will be helping him or her to let their individuality and personal strengths shine in the audition room, not trying to mold them to some preconceived notion of what schools might be looking for. Thanks to Chelsea, Justin and Nick, my daughter went into her auditions prepared and, even more importantly, calm and collected, knowing what was expected of her and ready for the challenge. Justin was even there for her when she discovered - the morning of Unifieds - that she had downloaded the wrong cut of one of her songs. He not only responded quickly to her panicked text message, within minutes he had sent the right recording to her email in plenty of time for her first audition.
And Chelsea and company aren't just there for your child. I can't even begin to count the times she talked me off the ledge when the inevitable rejections started flowing in. Seriously, I was more of a basket case than my daughter! But Chelsea never made me feel like I was a crazed stage mother and reassured me every step of the way that my daughter would land right where she was supposed to. Which she did - as one of 26 members (from an audition pool of over 1000 applicants) of Point Park University's BFA Musical Theater class of 2020. Thanks, Chelsea, Justin and Nick, for never giving up on Marissa - or me!"

"For our daughter, the college application process was the culmination of 10 years of hard work, determination and focus. 10 years of voice lessons, acting and monologue coaching, competitive dance training, auditions, children’s theater, summer theater, rehearsals, opening nights and closing performances. Her goal has been acceptance into a premier college BFA Music Theater program, leading to a successful career as a professional working actress. The audition process is so incredibly competitive that we could not take any chances, we needed every possible advantage, every resource we could find. Thankfully we found Chelsea! She knows the programs and their faculty. Her knowledge helped us refine our list of potential schools, settling on 12 schools to apply that would be the best fit for our daughter. Chelsea advised and guided our daughter with applications, audition song choices, monologue choices and deadlines. During the stressful months of the process, Chelsea’s calm guidance was reassuring that we were on the right track and that our end result would be positive. With Chelsea’s help our daughter was accepted into 9 amazing BFA Music Theater programs, including her top choice. The most selective theater schools receive 1000+ applications and accept 20 students or less, do not enter the college audition process alone. Thank you so much Chelsea, you gave Zan the edge!"

"Waste no time and enroll your daughter with Chelsea Diehl and the “My College Audition” Team.  When you make the decision to allow your child to rise up and follow their artistic passion, the competitive college audition process follows…and you will need a guide and a team of support that goes beyond what you can do locally.  We went from knowing nothing about the competitive audition process to winning the Holy Grail at the end of the journey, as our daughter received multiple acceptance and scholarship offers from both her reach and middle schools.  We attribute our daughter’s success to the exceptional training and individualized coaching she received through the My College Audition team.
The acting programs at the colleges and universities our daughter was looking at accept less than 10% into their programs.  Faced with those odds, we were overwhelmed.  Our daughter had done well in her high school theatre program, but had little to no experience outside of that circle.  Thank goodness we found Chelsea and the My College Audition team!  Chelsea and her team provided excellent insight, personalized coaching and a steady, positive focus that guided both her and us through the creative labyrinth of the selective college audition process.  Initially, we tried to find someone locally to assist, but gave up and decided to “try” MCA with Skype sessions.  It soon became clear how much time we wasted by looking local!  The Skype sessions were very effective and worked well with my daughter’s busy school schedule.  The coaches on Chelsea’s team are working professionals who offer great feedback and are encouraging role models for young artists.
MCA will set your student up for success in a way that you will not be able to do on your own.  No library collection or local theatre teacher has the knowledge and pulse on the national trends; a national audition coach is the way to go to best prepare your student for the competitive national audition journey you are about to undertake.
Chelsea and her team first assess raw talent and give you a fair and honest idea of what your reach, middle and safety schools should/can be.  Then, together, monologues are selected, worked on and nuanced.  An investment in MCA is an investment in the heart and passion of your student.
Set your student up to be their very best by gaining insider knowledge about the elite college programs and the competition your student will face on a national level…pick up the phone and enroll in MCA now!"

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We so very much appreciate all your time, talent and effort. I cannot express how thrilled we are that Trisdon will be joining you in Boston at Emerson. He is so ready to get started in his school career and dive further into his passion. Because of your service, but even more importantly,  your mentoring Trisdon (and his parents) made it through the audition process with success.  More than anything,  though,  thank you for breathing encouragement and confidence into my son. It was such a blessing to me and his Dad to watch him mature in his feelings of self-confidence and self worth and all through the relationship with you guys. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart."

"From the moment we met Chelsea we knew this was not only a great fit but a necessity for Colin to get into a college for Musical Theatre. It was very overwhelming to hear of the audition process and all the components required. While we were concentrating on college applications and visits, it was a huge relief to know that you were all taking care of Colin and the tools he would need to succeed. To have you help choose the monologue, song and dance routine for his auditions and how they should be performed and perfected was priceless! We would have had no idea what the proper choices should have been and I know he would not have had the same results. The Master classes, audition video and your guidance gave him the confidence to succeed! We know we could not have done this without you! Colin is so very excited to be attending Emerson College in the Fall.....thank you for your friendship and helping him achieve his dreams!"

"MCA has been great for my son and my family. The coaching and guidance that Dalton received during his audition process have been invaluable. Chelsea and her staff provide up to the minute inside knowledge about what each school is looking for in their auditions. MCA takes this knowledge and uses it to have your student 100% prepared for auditions. I can not overstate how much more confidence my son had going into auditions knowing that he had prepared specifically for the process and was ready.  Your vocal coaches may be great, but they do not have the current knowledge of the schools that MCA has. Chelsea also helped us as parents remain sane during the process. Her recommendations on the advantages and disadvantages of each school helped us feel confident about Dalton's choice of school to attend. I consider the money we spent on getting the full package with MCA one of the best investments we have ever made. When I think of all the advantages we had with MCA, it seems almost unfair to the kids who don't have their help and are going in alone. PS: My wife loves and adores Chelsea!"

"As parents we were amazed at how time consuming and rigorous the application process is for students pursuing an audition based BFA in acting or musical theater. Even though our daughter was well prepared by her high school and had trained in a variety of venues, so had most of the other 600 -1200 students applying to programs that accept 16-24 first year students. Chelsea Diehl was able to refine our daughter's focus and work with her in depth on her audition materials. Chelsea's approach is based on her vast, first hand knowledge of the top programs in the country. She helped our daughter select monologues that they both loved and presented her as an actor with a wide range of abilities. Chelsea is incredibly encouraging, but totally honest in her assessments and direction. Our daughter had positive results being offered admission to two top BFA acting programs, but equally as important she walked out of every audition feeling prepared, confident and proud. We cannot imagine having gone through this process without Chelsea Diehl and My College Audition."

"I am the parent of three children and I can honestly say that in the past 18 years there have only been a few things that have left me feeling truly outside of my comfort zone.  One of those things was the musical theater college audition process. Although I successfully navigated my way through both a bachelors and a masters degree, I had no idea what we were in for when my daughter announced that she wanted to pursue a degree in musical theater. Research into potential schools revealed  how incredibly competitive these programs are, and we were truly unsure of how to proceed with preparing for this experience. Enter Chelsea Cipolla and My College Audition. Chelsea is living proof that great things really can be found on the Internet! After an initial meeting with my daughter, she immediately honed in on monologues that truly suited her personality. She coached my daughter with humor and enthusiasm and was always available for support and encouragement. When we all decided that a new song was necessary, Jonathan stepped in with the perfect choice. Together, they gave my daughter confidence in her material and a belief that she could rise above the competition. She is incredibly excited to be attending Emerson College as a BFA musical theater student in September 2013. Thank you to Chelsea and Jonathan for a job well done!"

"I am so thankful that we found Chelsea, Justin and My College Audition! They did such a fantastic job guiding my daughter in her musical theatre audition prep!  They are true experts on what the college auditors are looking for during auditions.  They know the best material to pick from when selecting your monologues and songs, and, even more importantly, what material to stay away from.  They have the perfect coaching style - they are encouraging, firm, supportive, detail-oriented and exacting all at the same time.  They are their students' biggest fans and have a unique gift for helping them bring out their strengths.  They helped my daughter not only develop excellent songs and monologues for her audition, but also helped her feel mentally and physically prepared for all aspects of the demanding 4 hour audition process.  As a result, my daughter felt confident, calm and more than ready for this high-pressure audition.  And, as they say, "the proof is in the pudding" -- my daughter found out in December that she has been accepted into one of the top theatre schools in the country, NYU Tisch School of Drama, which was her first-choice school!  She couldn't have done it without  Justin and Chelsea, and we will forever be deeply grateful to them!"

"I was so fortunate to be introduced to Chelsea Cipolla and her team fairly early in the college application process. My son, Alex, applied to Colleges for Musical Theatre and Acting. He had an Acting Coach that I was not thrilled with at the time (I loved his vocal coach). I thought, though, that he needed the "vision" and guidance of someone new, particularly in the acting realm - someone who did not know him as well and could honestly critique his chosen monologues. After our first meeting with Chelsea, I knew it was a match made in heaven. Alex and I were so impressed with Chelsea's breadth and depth of knowledge and her outgoing personality and great sense of humor made it a perfect fit. She introduced Alex to McCaela Donovan to help him with his vocal choices (he had already seen McCaela in Boston theatre and was thrilled to be working with her).  Both Chelsea and McCaela were so flexible and willing to work with his current coaches as a team to ensure Alex had the best chance of getting into a college he would be happy attending.
Chelsea was on spot as to where Alex needed to focus on the acting side and worked with him closely to ensure he was performing to his potential. She took on the role of acting coach and we were  thrilled. McCaela did the same with his vocals and worked with him and his other vocal coach, to develop appropriate and creative song choices. Both Chelsea and McCaela's experience and talent  exceeded my expectations. What a great team to have behind you as a student entering such a competitive and subjective college application and audition process.
I cannot say enough great things about this team. I know this is not a "relationship" that ended when Alex was accepted to his first choice school - NYU Tisch. He was fortunate  and had choices. I thank Chelsea and McCaela for this! It was only the other day that I said to Alex, "it is great that you are staying in touch with Chelsea and McCaela, I know they will be able to guide you and help you learn the ropes of Acting and Musical Theatre as you move forward".
Thanks again Chelsea and McCaela - working with both of you has been a pleasure and I have no doubt Alex benefited and will continue to benefit from working with the two of you. I urge any parent who has a child applying to an Acting or Musical Theatre Program to contact MCA immediately if not sooner."

"This is an extremely valuable program that all high school students planning on majoring in performing arts should get involved in. It helps students understand the difficult process of college auditions. My daughter and I could not have survived without it! It was useful in every sense. Meeting Chelsea Cipolla was truly a life changing experience for me. My daughter had amazing weekly sessions of monologue coaching, but most importantly, self discovery. Chelsea is not only my daughter's coach, she is a mentor and friend for life."

"I found My College Audition by chance online while looking for some help to navigate the crazy world that is college auditions. What a find. Chelsea and her colleagues are talented, nice, caring people who know what colleges are looking for at auditions. The support and knowledge my daughter received from song and monologue selection and rehearsal to resume and what to wear advice was outstanding. My daughter was accepted to NYU, Emerson and Syracuse as well as other non-audition schools. She chose NYU/Tisch and is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theater (class of 2015). I truly believe My College Audition played a large part in her success. I have and will continue to recommend My College Audition to anyone choosing this path."

"I have only one regret about engaging the team at My College Audition -- not starting earlier! After all, we have sports coaches, dance lessons, and private music teachers...why not acting too?  My daughter worked with Joe and Chelsea on selecting monologues (which is a lot harder than you'd think) and honing her performance. It was a wonderful, empowering experience. They are a talented, warm, caring group who give practical advice and loads of encouragement. I highly recommend it to any student considering audition schools."

"I would like to express my deep appreciation to Chelsea Cipolla and My College Audition. Being a former professional actor, I was very impressed how my daughter, within a few months grew as a young actress. Chelsea's style of coaching helped her to become confident, relaxed, and prepared for her college auditions, and I firmly believe that this gave her an advantage over the others. Chelsea helped my daughter carefully select audition pieces that were best suited for her and she prepared her for interview questions that were asked by the panel of college judges. She also gave input on headshots, resumes, and even proper attire to wear for her audition. I highly recommend My College Audition to any high school student who is serious about going to college to study the performing arts, whether they are majoring in musical theater or acting. My daughter was accepted to her number one choice and was also awarded a scholarship. Thank you, Chelsea and My College Audition!"

"I just got a call from Jessica. She drove down to NYC tonight for accepted students day at NYU tomorrow. She also got her studio assignment today and has been placed in The New Studio on Broadway: Music Theater! She couldn't be more excited and we couldn't be more proud. She's already envisioning classes being taught by Sutton Foster....Thank you again for all of you help and support."

"My daughter worked with Chelsea (monologue prep) and Kevin (voice prep) in preparation for her college auditions. Lexi was extremely happy with the coaching and advice provided to her from both.  Chelsea and Kevin were a joy for Lexi to work with and their coaching gave Lexi the confidence she needed going in to her college auditions.  It has paid off....so far, Lexi has been accepted to the two schools (Emerson and Hartt) that she applied to early action.  The rest are coming up on January and March. I would highly recommend MCA for students preparing for their college auditions!!!  The added confidence and insight gained, is very valuable!  Good Luck to all....."

"Navigating the unfamiliar and highly competitive world of the college audition process would have been extremely stressful, expensive and undoubtedly, a rocky experience were it not for the help we received from My College Audition. Quite unexpectedly, my daughter’s simmering passion for Performing Arts emerged at the beginning of her junior year. I fought my DIY tendencies, and began to look for professional support, googling my way through various factory-like audition companies. I stumbled upon the MCA website and was immediately impressed with the generosity of information and the testimonials. With offices in Boston and New York, my daughter could also receive one on one coaching, another bonus. MCA is a company of accomplished acting professionals with extensive coaching and teaching experience. From our first meeting with Chelsea, we were immediately impressed with her down-to-earth style, sincerity, sense of humor and professionalism. Initially, Mary worked with her, selecting her monologues, then continued locally with Joe Marrella. His teaching method and humor were a perfect match for my daughter. She also had the pleasure of working with McCaela Donovan who helped her with song choices, working with her until she was confident and ready to walk into any audition. Throughout all, the coaches provided advice, support and even a virtual hug for both my daughter and me! The smallest of questions was never overlooked and we remained in contact from beginning to end. My daughter began her journey pursuing a BA Theatre/MT degree and included several BFA Acting and MT programs. She never dreamed that she would be accepted to so many excellent programs that even rewarded her ability. I can only say that MCA bolstered her confidence and honed her skills. Thanks to her coaches, she was extremely well-prepared when audition season arrived! We are truly grateful that we chose My College Audition and we will continue to stay in touch with our MCA family and recommend them to all. Search no further! MCA will make this process a very happy memory for you. I am delighted to say that my daughter will be attending the BFA Acting program at Ithaca College, Fall 2013."
