Kevin Michael Murphy is a NYC based actor/voice teacher who currently runs his own private studio.   In addition, Kevin teaches voice at the Magnet Theater, and is a vocal coach with "My College Audition."  Kevin's students have appeared in Broadway/Touring productions of Jersey Boys, Mama Mia, The Lion King, West Side Story, Cats!, Hairspray, and more!  Kevin holds a M.A. in Vocal Performance(Musical Theater) from NYU Steinhardt where he has also served as a voice instructor. He also holds a B.M. in Musical Theater from James Madison University.  As a performer, Kevin is currently a swing in "The Awesome 80s Prom" Off-Broadway, regularly performs musical improv and sketch at places like The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, in addition to hosting his critically acclaimed "If It Only Even Runs a Minute" concerts, and his weekly show, "The Village Gates Old Fashioned Piano Party."
