Grant MacDermott is a New Jersey native who has worked in the New York acting scene since the age of 13. After attending Emerson College in Boston and graduating with a BFA in Acting he decided to stay in the thriving theater town to develop both his career and the Boston chapter of My College Audition. Splitting his time between New York and Boston as both an actor and acting coach, Grant has appeared in multiple national commercials and award winning Boston productions. He is a poet and playwright and emerging businessman, turning his live for all of the performing arts into not only a career but a life. He has worked with: The Eugene O'Neill Playwright's Festival, SpeakEasy Stage, The Huntington Theater, The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, New Repertory Theater, The Nora Theater Company, and the Lyric Stage Company all in Boston. With a mind for business and art, he is excited about the new opportunities My College Audition has and will afford to students pursuing an academic career in the performing arts.
